How much sound reduction do acoustic office pods provide?

SoundBoxStore acoustic pods provide 30-35 dB sound reduction (Class A rating), blocking 99%+ of sound energy. All pods are tested according to ISO 23351-1:2020 for acoustic performance.

How long does it take to install an acoustic office pod?

Most single-person pods can be assembled in 2-3 hours. Larger 4-6 person meeting booths typically take 3-6 hours. Professional installation is available across the UK and Europe.

Do acoustic pods require ventilation?

Yes, all SoundBoxStore pods include integrated ventilation systems with silent fans that provide fresh air circulation while maintaining acoustic performance. The ventilation operates quietly without compromising soundproofing.

Are acoustic office pods fire rated?

Yes. SoundBoxStore pod materials are classified to EN 13501-1 B-s1,d0, the European reaction-to-fire standard: limited contribution to fire, very limited smoke production and no flaming droplets. Classification is third-party tested.

What is the warranty on acoustic office pods?

SoundBoxStore provides a 5-year structural warranty on frames and panels, plus 2-year coverage for electrical components. Extended warranties are available for additional peace of mind.

Can acoustic pods be relocated?

Yes, all SoundBoxStore pods feature modular design allowing disassembly and relocation without structural damage to your building. Moving kits are available for easy transport between offices.

What power and connectivity features are included?

All acoustic pods include integrated power outlets, USB-A and USB-C charging ports, LED lighting with dimmer control, and optional ethernet connectivity. Electrical specifications comply with UK and EU standards.

Omni Demi Gen 2 Acoustic Meeting Pod

Space to Think Together
Small groups get the worst of an open-plan office. A quick working session either takes over a corner of the floor and disturbs everyone around it, or gets pushed into a meeting room booked out weeks ahead. The Omni Demi Gen 2 gives two to four people somewhere to sit down and work through something properly.

Made for Working Things Out
Bench seating puts the group face to face rather than strung along one side of a desk, which is how a working session actually runs. There is room to spread out, think out loud and land on something, without the whole thing feeling like it is on a clock.

Quiet in Both Directions
A group discussion is the loudest thing on most office floors. Our acoustic booths are built to contain it, so the conversation stays in the room and the people working outside are left alone. Everyone inside can hear each other properly too, which is the part that makes a session worth having.

Built to Move With You
Offices change. Teams grow, desks shift, and layouts get rethought. The Omni Demi Gen 2 is made to keep up, so a meeting pod bought this year still earns its place after the next reshuffle.

Pod Placement

The placement of an acoustic pod can make a big difference to how well it performs. In spaces with high ceilings and large windows, positioning pods near a wall helps reduce echo.

It’s also important to leave enough space around the pod for proper airflow, and adding soft furnishings or plants nearby can further improve acoustics.

If you’re unsure where to place your pod, feel free to get in touch — our team will be happy to help you find the best spot.
