How much sound reduction do acoustic office pods provide?

SoundBoxStore acoustic pods provide 30-35 dB sound reduction (Class A rating), blocking 99%+ of sound energy. All pods are tested according to ISO 23351-1:2020 for acoustic performance.

How long does it take to install an acoustic office pod?

Most single-person pods can be assembled in 2-3 hours. Larger 4-6 person meeting booths typically take 3-6 hours. Professional installation is available across the UK and Europe.

Do acoustic pods require ventilation?

Yes, all SoundBoxStore pods include integrated ventilation systems with silent fans that provide fresh air circulation while maintaining acoustic performance. The ventilation operates quietly without compromising soundproofing.

Are acoustic office pods fire rated?

Yes. SoundBoxStore pod materials are classified to EN 13501-1 B-s1,d0, the European reaction-to-fire standard: limited contribution to fire, very limited smoke production and no flaming droplets. Classification is third-party tested.

What is the warranty on acoustic office pods?

SoundBoxStore provides a 5-year structural warranty on frames and panels, plus 2-year coverage for electrical components. Extended warranties are available for additional peace of mind.

Can acoustic pods be relocated?

Yes, all SoundBoxStore pods feature modular design allowing disassembly and relocation without structural damage to your building. Moving kits are available for easy transport between offices.

What power and connectivity features are included?

All acoustic pods include integrated power outlets, USB-A and USB-C charging ports, LED lighting with dimmer control, and optional ethernet connectivity. Electrical specifications comply with UK and EU standards.

Omni Two Gen 2 Acoustic Meeting Booth

Room for Two
Booking a meeting room for a 1:1 usually means taking a space built for eight, and someone else loses it for the afternoon. The Omni Two Gen 2 is a two-person acoustic booth that gives short meetings and video calls somewhere of their own, right where your team already sits.

Made for the Conversation
A bar-height worktop puts two people at the same level, close enough to share a screen and talk properly without leaning across a table. It suits the meeting that lasts twenty minutes rather than two hours, so the pod turns over quickly and stays available.

Quiet That Works Both Ways
Step inside, close the door, and the office behind you drops away. Our acoustic booths are built to cut noise in both directions, so what you discuss stays between the two of you and the floor outside carries on undisturbed.

Built to Move With You
Offices change. Teams grow, desks shift and layouts get rethought. The Omni Two Gen 2 is made to keep up, so a meeting booth bought this year still earns its place after the next reshuffle.

Pod Placement

The placement of an acoustic pod can make a big difference to how well it performs. In spaces with high ceilings and large windows, positioning pods near a wall helps reduce echo.

It’s also important to leave enough space around the pod for proper airflow, and adding soft furnishings or plants nearby can further improve acoustics.

If you’re unsure where to place your pod, feel free to get in touch — our team will be happy to help you find the best spot.

FAQs

The Omni Two Gen 2 suits small-scale collaboration such as 1:1 meetings and video calls. Its interior is larger than a single-person booth, giving two people a private, comfortable space to talk without disruption from the surrounding office.

It is tested to ISO 23351-1 Grade A+, with an STC rating of 30dB (±5dB) and RT0.25s (±0.1s). That cuts surrounding speech noise, making conversations clearer and more private in open-plan spaces.

The Omni Two Gen 2 can be configured several ways: an electrically adjustable workstation with stool, a desk with office chair, or a softer layout with seating and a table. That range covers both structured meetings and informal discussions.

Yes. A low-noise ventilation system with quad turbo fans and four air outlets delivers up to 3.36 m³/h. With dimmable, tunable lighting and a straightforward control panel, users can set the internal conditions to suit them.

Yes. Assembly usually takes approximately 45 minutes. Integrated castors allow repositioning as needed, and the fully demountable construction lets it move with changing layouts.
