How much sound reduction do acoustic office pods provide?

SoundBoxStore acoustic pods provide 30-35 dB sound reduction (Class A rating), blocking 99%+ of sound energy. All pods are tested according to ISO 23351-1:2020 for acoustic performance.

How long does it take to install an acoustic office pod?

Most single-person pods can be assembled in 2-3 hours. Larger 4-6 person meeting booths typically take 3-6 hours. Professional installation is available across the UK and Europe.

Do acoustic pods require ventilation?

Yes, all SoundBoxStore pods include integrated ventilation systems with silent fans that provide fresh air circulation while maintaining acoustic performance. The ventilation operates quietly without compromising soundproofing.

Are acoustic office pods fire rated?

Yes. SoundBoxStore pod materials are classified to EN 13501-1 B-s1,d0, the European reaction-to-fire standard: limited contribution to fire, very limited smoke production and no flaming droplets. Classification is third-party tested.

What is the warranty on acoustic office pods?

SoundBoxStore provides a 5-year structural warranty on frames and panels, plus 2-year coverage for electrical components. Extended warranties are available for additional peace of mind.

Can acoustic pods be relocated?

Yes, all SoundBoxStore pods feature modular design allowing disassembly and relocation without structural damage to your building. Moving kits are available for easy transport between offices.

What power and connectivity features are included?

All acoustic pods include integrated power outlets, USB-A and USB-C charging ports, LED lighting with dimmer control, and optional ethernet connectivity. Electrical specifications comply with UK and EU standards.

Omni Four Gen 2 Acoustic Meeting Room

A Room You Can Move
Most offices are short of meeting rooms and cannot easily build more. Walls take planning permission, downtime and a landlord conversation. The Omni Four Gen 2 gives you a four-person acoustic meeting room that arrives, goes up and works, without any of that.

Two Layouts, One Booth
Specify it as Meet for structured sessions around a table, or as Lounge for the looser conversation where people talk rather than present. Monitor integration is available if the room needs to run screen shares, so it holds its own as a proper video meeting space rather than a quiet corner.

Quiet in Both Directions
Four people in a meeting is the loudest thing on most floors. Our acoustic booths are built to contain it, so what gets discussed stays in the room and everyone working outside is left alone. Inside, the group can hear each other without raising their voices, which is what makes an hour in there bearable.

Built to Move With You
Offices change. Teams grow, desks shift and layouts get rethought. The Omni Four Gen 2 is made to keep up, so a meeting room bought this year still earns its place after the next reshuffle.

FAQs

Omni Four Gen 2 holds up to four people and is built for team meetings and presentations. It gives open-plan offices a quieter, more private setting that works for formal reviews as much as relaxed creative sessions.

The Omni Four Gen 2 comes in several layouts, including a counter-height meeting table and sofa or lounge seating, with monitor integration on selected versions. That lets it cover structured meetings and informal collaboration alike.

It is tested to ISO 23351-1 Grade A+, with an STC rating of 30dB (±5dB) and RT0.25s (±0.1s). That reduces surrounding speech noise and improves speech privacy, so conversations are easier to hold in a busy workplace.

Yes. A low-noise ventilation system with quad turbo fans and four air outlets provides up to 8.47 m³/h. It also has dimmable, tunable LED lighting, USB-A charging, a CAT6 network port and integrated Bluetooth® speakers, all run from a touch panel.

Yes. It is fully demountable, fitted with integrated castors for repositioning, and usually installs in approximately 60 minutes. Recyclable materials and a five-year guarantee make it a practical choice for workplaces that expect to change over time.
