Quell Demi Plus

The Quell Demi Plus is the premium-tier version of our compact 2-to-4 person collaboration booth. It uses the same slim-depth chassis as the Quell Demi Booth 2+ — 1.236 m external depth so the booth fits where a full meeting pod will not — paired with upgraded exterior finishes and an expanded choice of colour options. Like the rest of the Quell range, the Demi Plus is built on aviation-grade alloy framing with toughened glass and PET acoustic panels, delivering ISO 23351-1 verified acoustic privacy.

Both booths share the same dimensions, weight, acoustic engineering and dual silent ventilation system. The Quell Demi Plus is the premium tier and adds two key upgrades: a wider choice of exterior finish options (six colour patterns vs the standard range), and premium interior upholstery and surface materials. Choose the Demi Plus when the booth will be installed in a client-facing area, executive zone or shared workspace where appearance matters. Choose the standard Quell Demi Booth 2+ when budget is the priority and the booth will be used internally.

The Quell Demi Plus is independently tested to ISO 23351-1, the international standard for speech-level reduction in acoustic enclosures. Typical office speech is reduced by around 30 dB at the booth wall, meaning conversations inside are effectively contained in busy open-plan offices. The booth is well suited to confidential huddles, two-to-four person video calls, sensitive HR discussions and client conversations in shared workspaces.

The Quell Demi Plus uses a dual silent ventilation system — two ultra-quiet Panasonic fans deliver continuous fresh airflow without disturbing the conversation inside. The fans run automatically while the booth is in use and continue briefly afterwards to refresh the interior between sessions. Motion-activated LED lighting activates on entry and dims when the booth is empty.

Every Quell Demi Plus includes the soundproof pod with aviation-style alloy frame, toughened glass and premium PET acoustic interior, dual silent ventilation, motion-activated LED lighting, multiple power points with USB-A and USB-C charging, and Bluetooth-connect speaker integration. Furniture options include quality sofas with a coordinated table sized for the slim Demi profile, and an optional wall-mounted monitor stand (monitor not included). Exterior finish is available in a choice of six colour patterns.

Internal dimensions are 2.14 m high × 2.04 m wide × 1.20 m deep. External dimensions are 2.30 m high × 2.20 m wide × 1.236 m deep, occupying around 2.72 m² of floor area — a meaningful saving over a full 4-person booth. The pod weighs 530 kg. Allow at least 30 cm clearance behind the booth for the ventilation outlet and around 90 cm in front for the door swing.

Onsite installation by our trained team typically takes two to three hours once the booth is unpacked. The Demi Plus arrives flat-packed in CKD (completely knocked-down) format and is assembled in place. Once installed it is freestanding and connects to a standard 13 A socket. No structural fixings to the floor or ceiling are required, so the booth can be relocated later if your floor plan changes.

The Quell Demi Plus ships with a 5-year manufacturer warranty covering the structure, glass, electricals and ventilation components. All booths carry CE marking for the UK and EU, and UL listing for the United States, confirming compliance with the applicable electrical-safety and product standards.
