Both pods share the same 1-person external footprint (0.94 m²) and ISO 23351-1 acoustic engineering. The key difference is the furniture inside: the standard Quell Solo includes a fixed stool and laptop shelf, suited to phone-call use; the Quell Flex includes a full electric height-adjustable desk (600 mm wide × 250 mm deep, adjustable from 750 mm to 1200 mm) for sit-stand working. Choose the Quell Solo when the booth will be used mostly for short calls; choose the Quell Flex when staff will work inside the booth for longer focused sessions or hot-desking.

The Office Pod Quell Flex is independently tested to ISO 23351-1, the international standard for speech-level reduction in acoustic enclosures. Typical office speech is reduced by around 30 dB at the booth wall, dropping conversations inside to roughly background noise level outside. The acoustic design is well suited to confidential one-to-one calls, focused individual work and any solo task where open-plan noise would be a distraction.

The Quell Flex uses an upgraded turbo-fan ventilation system tuned for solo use. Fresh air is delivered continuously while the booth is occupied, at a sound level that does not interfere with calls or video meetings. Motion-activated LED lighting switches on when you enter and dims when the booth is empty, so the booth is ready for the next user without manual intervention.

Every Quell Flex includes the soundproof pod (aviation-grade aluminium frame, toughened glass door and back panel, internal PET acoustic panels), the electric height-adjustable desk (600 mm × 250 mm, 750–1200 mm range), motion-activated LED lighting, dual silent ventilation, Bluetooth-connected speaker, and multiple power outlets with USB-A and USB-C charging. A stool is included as standard. The pod arrives with a 1.8 m mains cable; longer cable lengths are available on request.

External dimensions are 2.30 m high × 1.00 m wide × 0.936 m deep, occupying 0.94 m² of floor space — small enough to fit alongside a desk row or in a corner. The electric desk inside is 600 mm wide and 250 mm deep, height-adjustable from 750 mm to 1200 mm. The pod weighs 275 kg empty, rising to 299 kg with the desk and stool installed.

Onsite installation by our trained team typically takes two hours once the booth is unpacked. The pod arrives flat-packed in CKD (completely knocked-down) format and is assembled in place. Once installed it is freestanding and connects to a standard 13 A socket. No structural fixings to the floor or ceiling are required, and adjustable feet retract to reveal castors for later relocation.

The Office Pod Quell Flex ships with a 5-year manufacturer warranty covering the structure, glass, electricals, ventilation and the electric desk mechanism. All Quell booths carry CE marking for the UK and EU, and UL listing for the United States, confirming compliance with the applicable electrical-safety and product standards.
